Reimagining the Art Deco charm of an existing building in Hammersmith & Fulham, the project at Bridge Studios proposes a two-storey upward extension. The design adds a contemporary flair to the traditional style, while celebrating the unique characteristics of the property in the streetscape. 

The project will accommodate six well-proportioned apartments, each with private amenity space. The apartments are split equally into a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom units designed for modern-day living with open-plan layouts of the living/kitchen/dining areas. 

The upward extension will utilise the existing framework of the current property to create the additional storeys. Implementing a set-back, the proposed massing is setback at the rear to reduce the overall bulk of the intervention and ensure a seamless integration with the neighbouring buildings.

The proposal has been submitted for planning approval in early 2024 and is currently awaiting decision.
