Situated in Watford, Stratford Road proposes the replacement of a two-storey property on site, to construct three new family homes. The properties will each offer four well-proportioned bedrooms and an open-plan layout of the ground floor suitable for modern-day family living. 

The design of the project is largely site-led, with the form of the three houses the concept to frame the corners of the plot, while also ensuring a seamless blend with the surrounding urban grain. The two side buildings employ a more subtle approach, incorporating pitched roofs to mitigate impact and frame the corners as 'book-end' structures.

The central building adopts a more pronounced roof form, oriented towards the adjacent decorative Church spire, fostering a deliberate connection between the structures. The strategic positioning of the proposed houses engages with the location and context, showcasing the facades along the main road.

The project has been approved by Watford Borough Council and is currently under construction.
