A site characterised by an existing house and light industrial unit presented a tremendous opportunity to provide an intensified residential use.

A three-storey building was designed to provide nine residential units with an emphasis on providing family homes. Three angled front and rear facing gables mimic a set of terraced properties to blend into the domestic streetscene.

Private and communal balconies and gardens have been incorporated to enhance family accommodation while green roofs and PV panels enhance the sustainable measures incorporated into the design.

The proposals have been submitted to the Council and are recommend for approval.
