Temple Fortune Lane sees the completion of an extensive remodel tucked away in the Hampstead Garden Suburb.

Our client approached us with the task to improve the existing home with a complete internal renovation and refurbishment, along with several changes to external parts of the house including the garden area and garage which has now been converted into an office space.

The scheme encompassed work at RIBA stage three, including close collaboration with the Hampstead Garden Trust and Barnet Council and from stage four through to completion, including assisting with technical design and project management.

The design approach unlocks the layout on both floors of the property, opting for a more modern open-plan ground floor and reconfiguring the first floor to create three well-proportioned bedrooms and bathroom spaces. Some extensive structural works were required to improve the overall spatial layout of the property, which included removing the existing fireplace and reinforcing the foundations to lower the ground floor level.
